    I visited Poland around 8 years ago. I took the trip with a best friend and his wife. They tend to visit the country every few years to see her family. My friend is Black American. I'm Asian American. This was before the KPop rise in popularity and Asians were more rare in Poland. We received stares nearly everywhere we went. The Polish staring weren't rude or mean, but stared hard. My friend told me not to be bothered because it's likely I was the first Asian these Polish folks saw in real life. I did have fun overall though. My friend's wife's Polish friends and relatives were very welcoming and fun.

    You are wrong, It's illegal to keep dog on chain. Dog can be kept like this for few hours max during the day and has to have access to water, shelter etc. and honestly such cases where dogs are chained are rare.

    • @pandabossanna
      @pandabossanna 13 днів тому

      It’s not illegal to keep a dog on a chain in Poland. There’s been suggestions to make it illegal but PIS turned it down, I think the new gov are going to discuss it again. You can’t keep it chained for more than 12 hours, but in reality you can let it off for 2 mins then chain it up again. I had straz gminna and PIW involved in a case where the dog was never ever let off (multiple eyewitnesses) and they didn’t do sh*t, said the owner suggested harming the dog if it starts causing problems (ie straz gminna), and that the dog is better off on a chain there than in a shelter (bull because at least it would run around every day and be taken for walks at the shelter). If you think chained up dogs are rare you must not have been to many rural Poland villages/towns.

    I would agree with both bullying or jelousy. Although i would say that, at least in my case, i felt it more in a way - no compliments, not showing respect, being sort of invisible. The only people which are worthy in Poland are those which just love to work - and the work is their primary motivation and satisfaction. And better yet: if you're workaholic and humble at the same time. Bullying in work is often called "Polish school of managment" or "Januszowo" (Janooshovo). I think that this is possibly related to how capitalism is still something fairly new in Poland. On top of it small and medium business is having a very hard time here - like you're saying: lots of complicated taxes, very expensive to have ur own business etc.

    I don't think you understand how safe trading can be. If you understand the goal of leverage, and understand the difference between standard lot and micro lot accounts, AND you know how to calculate your position size for each trade, risking 1% or less of your total account, then trading is actually very safe. As you said, you are not an expert. I have the experience of placing trades in a safe, calculated manner. If you are trading CFDs using a standard lot account, trading with only $1000, then you DON'T know what you are doing, because I can tell you now, $1000 is too small to trade with in standard lots. Your position sizes will get choked up if you had to properly calculate it, and you'd be unable to trade the higher timeframes without breaking the risk management rules. Most people blow up because they don't know what they're doing.

    03:45 LOL. The funniest thing is to hear from someone from Great Britain that Polish health care is at very low level. Dear author of this video. You're confusing concepts. Poland has a fairly high level of health care - the problem is its AVAILABILITY, not its quality. This means that there are long queues to see the specialists you mentioned, but the quality of services is several levels higher than in the UK. This is exactly the opinion of several of my friends who lived or still live in the UK. Treating pneumonia with paracetamol is apparently a specialty of your health service :D

    • @pandabossanna
      @pandabossanna Місяць тому

      Actually I’ve been treated in both countries and the NFZ quality is far lower than NHS quality. Poland has very high quality of healthcare but PRIVATE healthcare :) I know girls who have seen the SAME DOCTOR on the NFZ and Private and the difference in how they even communicate with the patient is insane!

    • @rayan69pl
      @rayan69pl Місяць тому

      @@pandabossanna My friends who lived or live in the UK have a completely opposite view. So either we are dealing with racism in the UK - people not native to the UK are treated completely differently by doctors, or you are lucky with the quality of the health service in the UK. And as for the treatment of doctors in Poland differently in the NFZ than in private...This is 100% right, but it is a more broad problem and concerns the quality of services in public institutions. Unfortunately, the current "democratic" authorities fought very hard against the previous government not to reform this system and we have classes such as doctors who cannot be touched and changed anything because immediately the entire EU is talking about an "attack on democracy"

    • @Bogna1
      @Bogna1 8 днів тому

      @@rayan69pl To wszystko zalezy od specjalisty. Akurat mieszkam w UK i w przypadku NHS tez zalezy na kogo sie natrafi. Nawet korzystam z tutejszych panstowych dentystow i tez nie narzekam. Ani poziom NHS nie jest taki straszny jak to przedstawia wiele Polakow, ani tez poska sluzba zdrowia na tak wysokim poziomie. Zalezy od szpitala i konkretnych lekarzy. Natomiast dlaczego w Polsce wiekszosc narzeka na polskie pielegniarki, ze sa opryskliwe, zgorzkniale, ze zle traktuja pacjentow i przesmiewczo nazywa sie je pigulami?

    Picking mushrooms or forest fruits is quite a long tradition in Poland, and also a kind of entertainment - you go mushroom picking with friends or family, then eat a small lunch in the forest, adults drink some vodka or moonshine. We teach children how to distinguish edible from inedible mushrooms, which forest fruits are safe and which are not. Mushrooms are quite present in Polish cuisine - whether in the form of pickled or dried mushrooms, mushroom soup is one of the traditional dishes on Christmas Eve, you need mushrooms for bigos or pierogi etc. Savings do play a certain role here, but I think it is not a fundamental one. Similarly with home gardens - it is often even more of an entertainment or hobby, many people simply like to spend their free time this way. And then they have the satisfaction of eating tomatoes from their own patch :) As for alcohol - you didn't say that making various fruit tinctures is popular - and completely legal if they are made for personal use. In recent years, brewing your own home beer has become popular - you can even buy the necessary equipment in stores.

    A little clarification regarding holidays. Generally, employees in Poland have the right to twenty-several days of leave (it depends mainly on the length of service), and at least one leave must contain at least 10 working days - so if you add weekends, you get 2 weeks. If the employee does not take such leave, his employer may be subject to a financial penalty in the event of an inspection (and these are various). What's more - the entire leave should be used within the calendar year, and if a few days are "left" by the employee - they are transferred to the next year - but be careful! - such outstanding days must be used no later than September of the following year. The employer is also responsible for this, and if he does not ensure this, he may receive a fine of PLN 5,000. zlotys. Therefore, there are situations - and I have participated in them myself as an employer - when an employee is sent on forced leave if he has not used it fully. As for the additional money received by the employee while on leave - it is not an incentive or motivation, but an opportunity that the employee can take advantage of. In every public workplace, the employer collects a special fund to support employees in various situations (give them non-repayable loans, etc., e.g. in crisis situations), but also - if the employee asks for it - to provide money for holidays. This is called a "pear tree holiday" when you pay for your holiday with your own money and do not use the holiday infrastructure of your institution (if it has such a thing at all). The amount of such a payment usually depends on your family's income, while the distribution of this fund is handled by the Social Committee, which brings together the employees themselves. The employer only makes the final decision on payment, but this is a pure formality. In private workplaces and corporations, such a solution generally does not exist, although of course there are exceptions. As for health care - public health care actually fails as the problem becomes more complicated. It is relatively easy and quick to get to a family doctor within public health care, and even to some specialists, when you have a cold, have a headache, want to receive a referral for more sophisticated tests, etc. Public health care also works quite efficiently in the case of, for example, accidents. If you break your arm because you slip on the street, an ambulance will come and take you to the hospital, where they will examine you and put appropriate dressings on you, and if the case looks more serious, they will put you to bed and sometimes perform very complicated tests - all for free. The problems begin when you want to perform more complicated tests, e.g. with a CT scan, or when you are referred to a hospital not under an emergency procedure. Then you can actually wait a long time, but it also depends on where you live and how many specialists or hospitals are available in the area. We are aware that this sector of public health care requires quite deep repairs and improvements. And that's why, for now, employers usually offer employees health packages as part of their employment. In fact, this is already the norm in larger private companies, but is slowly becoming the norm in public institutions as well. Even though the latter packages may be quite basic, they can be extended for a fee acceptable in the household budget, and also include private care for family members. As for post lockers - I don't know if you have already found out that you can not only collect parcels there, but also send them yourself through this system? :)

    The assumption that 65% of traders are the same and doomed to fail ignores the nuances of individual trader behavior and the diversity of strategies employed. While it’s true that a majority of retail investors face challenges and often incur losses, the 35% who succeed do so by leveraging education, discipline, strategic planning, and effective risk management. This disparity highlights the importance of continuous learning and adapting to the evolving financial landscape.

    I’ve spent 20 years in England and hated the last 17 of them. It’s like living in a Monty pythons movie plus the crime and filth. However saying that I must agree with your observations, you are correct, we are several years behind the rest of the western countries simply because we have only become „free” of foreign occupation in 1989. Until then people had very little, heck we did not even have a real chocolate available - a mars bar was like a life time event. A lot of people still remember those days and plenty continue whatever they have learned from their parents. Perhaps this explains the recent jealousy a bit although it is a part of polish past history as well. I dread working for polish company these days for the exact reasons you’ve mentioned, I only done it once and it was ok. The boss was great but it was more than a 2 decades ago. My experience in the U.K. was really good. Polite, educated bosses who always show respect in front of you - behind your back? I don’t know but I don’t care about the things I know nothing about. Taxes in the U.K. are very simple but also annoying when you are living abroad and can’t do it online - it has to be paper by mail (makes no sense!) or you pay a company for the service to submit it for you. Also try to sell or buy the house there - It’s months, sometimes years. I think a lot of people have tax adviser in PL to save money not because it’s so complicated they can’t do it themselves. Anyway, don’t give up, stay yourself and share the good way so the stubborn people see another way and maybe learn something from it.

      Consider that I also have a video called things I love about living in Poland, and the fact I moved here for my family not for how fabulous the country is….

    Very good video, I needed this info, what’s good about it is that when I’m going to get a shared owner ship I know what to look for in my contracts so the experience is positive

    Pros: you can put up pictures on the wall without asking anyone. Cons: everything else

    Wait, so one day when I'm able to pay for a TEFL course, I will be taught not to use the student's native language?

    I’ve employed a cleaner for more than six months now. One of the best decisions I’ve made as she cleans faster and better than me meaning that my weekend is free to do other activities. Really helps in the winter time too when daylight is limited. Ironing is another time consuming task that I hate and have someone do it for me. I still do my own gardening though (when it’s warm !) 😂

    Good video but not convinced about multiple income sources. Most wealthy people tend to have higher incomes and the best way to get a higher income is to become an expert at sometjing eg doctor, lawyer, Bill Gates

      I disagree :) everyone I know who is wealthy has more than one income - even if the second income is just rental income or dividend income (i.e. passive income). I don't mean multiple jobs etc!
